Stories of Resistance

In recognition of Black History Month, Willard Library offers a program on Evansville’s African American history.  Stan Schmitt will be talking about instances when African Americans in Evansville refused to accept second class status and segregation.

Stan Schmitt is an assistant in the Special Collections Department at Willard Public Library, as well as the Vanderburgh County Historian.  He is a much sought after speaker, and brings much knowledge to any presentation.

The program will be held in the Browning Gallery.
