Explore the parallels between Black history in Indianapolis and Evansville. Sampson Levingston, deeply connected to the region, brings a personal touch to the discussion - with roots in Mount Vernon and familial ties to Evansville. With Mayor Stephanie Terry providing opening remarks, this event promises to be both enlightening and inspiring.
This event is free and open to all. It is presented by the City of Evansville's Dept. of Metropolitan Development Historic Preservation office in celebration of Historic Preservation Month.
